Institute of Sports and Physical Education

The Institute of Sports and Physical Educationat M.K. Ammosov North-Eastern Federal University was founded under the decree of the first president of the Sakha Republic № 672on 3 February 1999.

Now the institute is the largest higher educational institution in Russia, equipped with the advanced sports constructions that gives the chance to the further development of physical preparation of students and sports development in the republic. The institute became the advanced forge of high-class sportsmen. Annually students achieve convincing sports results in various sports not only in the republic, but also in Far East region of the Russian Federation, Russian and world championships among students.
