NEFU became "Winner of the Open International Students' Internet Competitions"

Since 2011, the federal university has trained 68 prize holders and the winners of International Internet Competitions. The Organizing Committee of Open International Student Internet Competitions awarded NEFU the honorary title.

"Participating in competitions of innovative type, North-Eastern Federal University is positioning itself as an educational institution with large strategic ambitions, where attention is paid to the selection of talented youth. Students showed a high level of training in the first round of the Internet Competition, worthily represented their university in the final round of the Competition", said Vladimir Navodnov, Co-Chairman of the Organizing Committee of Open International Students' Internet Competition.

The National Endowment for Innovation in education since 2008 implements project of the Internet Competitions. During this time, more than 80,000 students attended the online competitions from 737 universities in 19 countries. University students carry out the competition tests in online mode.

NEFU students showed the best results in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Information Science. In 2014, students of INS Mikhail Makarov, Robert Pototsky, student of IMIS Grigory Spirov became the gold medalists.
