Political Science Research Workshop “Problems and mechanisms of political socialization of the population in the Far East of Russia: political culture and the world of public policy” finished its work at the Federal University at October 4.

Following the results of work of a political science workshop problems were formulated, the objects and the tasks are set, developed the methodology and schedule of the collective scientific project “A role of agents of socialization in formation of regional, national, civil identity: the generational analysis on example of the Northeast of the Russian Federation.” This project will be carried out within the cooperation agreement of the Russian Political Science Association and NEFU. Implementation of the project will involve students and graduate students from listeners of School of democratic culture of NEFU in expert and analytical activity. In the future we plan to apply for a grant competition the Russian Humanitarian Foundation ", - said the scientific secretary of the NEFU Academic Council, assistant professor of political science at the Faculty of History Semyon Dyachkovskyi.

The workshop was conducted by the chief researcher of Institute of scientific information on social sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences Olga Malinova and by the manager of department of applied political science of National research university Higher school of economy St. Petersburg Alexander Sungurov. In work of the workshop students and undergraduates of the History department and Financial-Economic Institute of NEFU and the faculty of the University participated.
