Students of NEFU became winners of Wushu Sanda tournament "Heavenly River Cup"

Pupils of kick-boxing and thai box section of NEFU Anna Zhirkova and Juliana Moskvitina became the winners of the republican open tour of Wushu Sanda "Heavenly River Cup ", which was held from 17 to 19 October.

Students are trained by Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor at the Institute of Physical Culture and Sports of NEFU Ilya Tcherkashin. "The system of sanda training intended for self-defense. Sanda teaches proper breathing, endurance, as well as the ability to relax. Particular attention is paid to mobility, precision strike and the reaction rate, "- says the coach.

Participants struggled to thirty weight categories in two rounds. The teams were presented with clubs "Polar Bear", "Mokhsogol", "Kut-Sur", "Beder," "Uraankhay", "Saryal", "Bison", "Heavenly River", school № 27 from Yakutsk and NEFU. Anna Zhirkova, fourth-year student of Physics and Technical Institute, won two fights and became the owner of the cup, her classmate Juliana Moskvitina became a finalist of the tournament.
