NEFU were represented students of the department of technology of processing of precious stones and metals of Physico-Technical Institute. Naryya Ivanova,the fifth-year student, showed a good time and good quality of diamond cut, took the second place.Group author's works were winners in the special categories "women's jewelry."

The competition was held in production departments of Yakutsk vocational lyceum №16 in accordance with the requirements of the all-russian contest «WorldSkills Russia" competency "Jeweler" and "Cutters".

Recall that in the future the department prepares specialists in professions such as designer of metal products, diamond cutter, the evaluator, an expert on art and jewelry casting, a jeweler.
