NEFU students studied diplomacy rules at the Youth Forum in Korea

Korea-Central Asian Youth Forum - Model Summit was held from 2 to 8 November in Gosong city (Republic of Korea). NEFU students participated in the sections devoted to the economy, culture and energy.

During the week, students from Russia, Korea and CIS tried on the role of delegates of Central Asian countries. "We attended lectures of the leading teachers and specialists of the Korean universities about the prospects of cooperation development in the fields of economy, culture and energy between Korea and the countries of Central Asia. Learned the rules of diplomacy, defended the interests of their countries, and developed cooperation in different aspects of development between regions", Artem Egorov, NEFU IFE master’s student said.

Model Summit is a kind of creative center where you can get ideas for research and international business, according to participants. Student of NEFU Teacher Training Institute Afanasy Neustroev suggested to hold the international forum in Yakutsk in 2018. "I participated in "Culture" section. My idea was well received by the participants. We also sounded another idea - to hold an Ecological Tourist Youth Forum on the base of the regions which participated in this event", the student said.

At the closing of the Summit Models, students presented an excerpt from olonkho in English and presented the culture of Yakutia, playing the khomus, performing toyuk and osuokhay.
