NEFU presents master’s programs in China

NEFU master’s programs were presented at the universities of China, and agreements on cooperation were reached. In three provinces of China - Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning, North-Eastern Federal University holds "Week of the Russian Language and Literature."

"Administration of Harbin Institute of Technology invited NEFU to join the Association of Technical Universities of Russia and China. Administration of Jilin University is interested in cooperation in the field of geology, the university also has the Research Institute for the Arctic Study", the Head of NEFU International Relations Office Vladlen Kugunurov said.

Within the frameworks of the week, Harbin University of Science and Technology, East University of Heilongjiang Province, Qiqihar, Changchun University of Science and Technology are also included. "We negotiated with the international departments of the universities on development cooperation, expansion of student exchange. New areas of cooperation are defined, in particular, there will be support of study of the Russian language on the base of Chinese universities", Vladlen Kugunurov said.

NEFU Associate Professor Oksana Sizykh presented lectures on modern reading of poetry and prose of poet Mikhail Lermontov to the students of Chinese universities, the literature of the XXI century, head of the Department "Russian as a Foreign Language" Svetlana Petrova held seminars "Effective Russian Language" and "Actual Problems of Modern Russian Studies". Week of the Russian language and literature in China was held from November 26 to December 4.
