NEFU teaching staff adopted experience of defectological education of the Republic of Korea

NEFU teaching staff discussed problems of special education and organization of pre-school, primary and higher education during the internship in the Republic of Korea. The internship was organized in December by NEFU International Research School.

"A separate part of the internship was devoted to speech therapy. We attended class of the speech therapist of the University Hospital of Quing Hi at Hankuk University of Foreign Languages, seen practical lessons in speech therapy in the clinic experimental laboratory", said Natalia Abramova, associate professor of the Department of Special (Defectological) Education of NEFU Teacher Training Institute.

The internship had practical orientation, according to university professors. "Interesting classes were held at Kookmin University. Professors Lee Jason and Yoon Ju introduced the methodology of teaching English. There is a kindergarten at this university. Specialists of Teacher Training Institute visited workshops in the kindergarten, made analysis ", Natalia Abramova said.

Five NEFU teachers of Teacher Training Institute, the Institute of Engineering, the Institute of Foreign Philology and Regional Studies completed training. "The program was highly topical. The experience gained during the internship, we plan to implement in the professional activity", the teachers said.

The internship program included Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, University Hospital of Qing Hi, Kookmin University, and High School for Girls of Kookmin University.
