A corporate project – NEFU Book of Honor is carried out in honor of the fifth anniversary of the federal university’s formation. The book was created for documentation of the achievements facts in the field of education, science, innovation and social activities.

The book includes the names of employees and departments who have made significant contributions to the university development. The first quality certificates for entry in the university Book of Honor were awarded to various educational and research departments on April 2 at the solemn meeting devoted to the fifth anniversary of the federal university’s formation.

"We have received the certificate for educational activities and implementation of the program "Mathematics +", which has been working at the university since 2011. Another reason why we have entered into NEFU Book of Honor is high results of educational activities, students' progress at national and international competitions in mathematics and programming. In my opinion, we definitely need this book, because it is an opportunity to summarize the results for five years of the university existence. This is the history - in the future, students will be able to see the results that we have achieved in 50 years", Vera Afanasieva, the Director of the Institute of Mathematics and Information Science, said.

NEFU Book of Honor also includes Medical Institute - for the students' progress at national and regional competitions, Engineering and Technical Institute - for 100% of graduates’ employment, the Faculty of Geology and Survey - for the infrastructure creation of scientific and educational activities. Including the Institute of Sports and Physical Education, Institute of Natural Sciences and the Faculty of History, Scientific Research Institute of Applied Ecology of the North, Scientific Research Institute of Olonkho, Laboratory of P.A. Lazarev Mammoth Museum of the Research Institute of Applied Ecology of the North, scientific and educational center "Nanotechnology". Arctic Innovation Center and Small Innovation Enterprises are also included in the book. Center for Linguistic Expertise, NEFU Student Coordinating Council, International Relations Office and the Management of Investment and Innovations were noted for good results and contribution to the development.

NEFU Book of Honor will be stored at the Museum of Higher Education. The electronic version will be represented on the official website of the university.
