The French Embassy to award scholarships for NEFU students to undertake internships at French universities

Four NEFU students and one graduate student were awarded scholarships of the French Embassy in Russia. The winners got the right to study Master’s at the University of Le Havre and the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin and other universities.

336 students from Russia, including 78 students from Siberia, 13 members of North-Eastern Federal University applied for scholarships. "The competition is very strong, it determines the best students and master’s degree students across Russia. NEFU representatives annually participate in the event, but it is a great success that at once four students became the scholarship holders", Izabella Borisova, director of NEFU French Resource Center of the International Relations Office, said.

Tatiana Kim, a 5th year student of the Faculty of History to continue her education in Archeology in one of the selected universities. She was invited to several educational institutions. "I plan to study Master's in Archeology. I think I will get new knowledge and improve my professional skills, Tatiana said. - After completion of the training program, I plan to return to NEFU to do science, teaching and development of university relations with other countries."

Mikhail Nikolaev and Vasily Solovyev, the 1st year students of the Institute of Foreign Philology and Regional Studies, will study at the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin in "Arctic Research". Eva Kharchana Kowalska will continue her education at the University of Le Havre in "International Relations".
