NEFU young scientists to compete at Science Slam

“Battle” of scientists Science Slam to be held at North-Eastern Federal University. Within ten minutes, the scientists have to disclose the essence of their research in understandable format. NEFU Student Scientific Society organized the project.

"The project will show the ability of students and young scientists to tell wide audience about their research and achievements in accessible language. The audience will choose the best slamer. We chose researchers with interesting topics to participate in the first project", the Chair of the Student Scientific Society Innokenty Sheykin said.

Participants will be Alina Kychkina, Lyudmila Marinova from the Institute of Medicine, Stepanida Khristoforova from Engineering and Technical Institute, Kseniya Kim from the Institute of Psychology and researcher of the Technopark "Yakutia" Evgeny Popov.

"Students from the League of NEFU Club of the Funny and Inventive can help with the organization of the event. I think we can organize a scientific presentation in a friendly atmosphere, with humor, in a convenient classroom for the students", Innokenty Sheykin said.

Science Slam is an international format, aimed at creating a positive image of young scientists and researchers. Performances of NEFU young scientists will be held on November 28 at 4:00 pm in OLLS timeclub at 26/4 Dzerzhinsky Street, Section A, third floor, Yakutsk.
