NEFU students and staff are eligible to get Microsoft Office for free

North-Eastern Federal University provides Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus to NEFU students and staff at no cost. According to NEFU Information Technology Department, the access was opened on 11 April.

“Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus is an integrated service, which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, Outlook and etc. A new version of professional “cloud” provides better opportunities for interaction between members of the educational process by using social services”, Petr Ivanov, NEFU Vice Rector for Informational Support, said.

According to Aleksandr Savvinov, Head of NEFU Department of Information Systems, Office is available to students and staff, registered in NEFU Unified account system – Aduser.s-vfu.ru. “A new version of service allows users to install Office on up to five devices for free, including 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage”, Aleksandr Savvinov said.

Students can install and activate Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus at http://office365.s-vfu.ru.

Let us recall that the work is carried out as part of Microsoft Partnership Agreement.
