Future specialists in tourism, studying at NEFU and Bohai University under double certification program, defended theses. On May 27, graduates who are in China defended theses at the Institute of Languages and Cultures of the Peoples of the Russian North-East (ILCPRNE).

"Six students of the institute have been studying at Bohai University majoring in "Organization method of tour operator and travel agency services" since 2014. In the first year, they had been learning Chinese. This year, they will obtain a diploma of our University, next year they will defend their works in China", said Aytalina Borisova, head of ILCPRNE Department of Social and Cultural Service and Tourism.

Professor Tatiana Boytsova at Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service, Chairman of the Qualifying Commission, noted that students enrolled in the program of dual certification have double burden: they have to master the Chinese language, as well as to study the program of the Chinese University. "Our relations with China in the field of tourism research are strengthened, and the Chinese side is interested in qualified specialists, fluently speaking two languages ​​and knowing the mentality and traditions of two countries", she said.

"Graduates have the opportunity to find a job in China. Some of them plan to work in China, other plan to open a business at home", shared Aytalina Borisova. She noted that the program of dual certification, in force since 2012, will be improved – students will learn the Chinese language from the first year in order not to lose a year of study in the Chinese university.
