Business Incubator “OREH” of NEFU Arctic Innovation Center was awarded the National Prize of business incubator “Young lions-2016” – experts assessed it as the best student organization in this field. The Prize was awarded at the VI International Forum on business incubator at Moscow State Institute of International Relations on November 7.

"It is a great achievement for us. Last year, our incubator has taken the second place, during the year we have improved the indicators - of course, it is a merit of our whole team. A number of events were carried out, we actively worked with partner organizations, Technopark "Yakutia", and venture company "Yakutia", said Alyona Arkhipova, head of "OREH".

The applications were submitted online: the jury assessed by many indicators, including the number of residents and alumni, the funds raised in the incubator and events carried out, said Alyona Arkhipova. "Since the establishment of our subdivision, residents and graduates raised over RUR 16 million as investments. All depends on residents. Currently, there are 27 projects, but the amount does not matter – what matters is idea and the result, said the director of Student Business Incubator "OREH".

Student Business Incubator was established in 2012 on the basis of NEFU Arctic Innovation Center within the frameworks of the development program of the Federal University’s innovation infrastructure for human resource development of innovative ventures of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). This is the first student business incubator in Yakutia.
