On November 29, rector of the Federal University Evgenia Mikhailova and rector of the Arctic University of Tromsø Anne Khusebekk signed a cooperation agreement.

Under the agreement, the universities will conduct joint research projects, expeditions, conferences, will organize exchange programs for teachers and students. "In 2013, the University of Tromsø and NEFU signed a cooperation agreement, and now, when the university became the Arctic University, we have decided to sign a new agreement. I wish that our friendship was strong. Maksim Ammosov University is a future-oriented university, we are sure that we won’t fail our partners, and all the points of the agreement will be implemented", said rector of the Federal University Evgenia Mikhailova.

Anne Khusebekk expressed gratitude and said that she looks forward to fruitful and mutually beneficial cooperation. "We, as people living in the North, work for the Arctic development, and the population life was comfortable", said the rector of the Norwegian university.

"We are sure that the young generation has new perspectives, teachers should support and guide them. We believe that our students, who will study at the Arctic University, will become good specialists to build our future. We hope that there will be no conflicts and wars in this world", said Evgenia Mikhailova.
