NEFU Technical Institute in Neryungri to hold scientific forum of young scientists

Technical Institute, the branch of North-Eastern Federal University in Neryungri, organizes the 18th All-Russian Research and Practice Conference with international participation for young scientists, PhD students and students. According to the organizers, the event will be dedicated to 25th branch anniversary. The scientific event will be held in March this year.

The conference is held annually – more than 1000 young scientists, students of  the federal university and other universities have participated in it over the past 3 years, according to Andrey Melnikov, Director of Research and Innovation Activity Department of NEFU Technical Institute. “We gather statistics of participants: according to our observations, a lot of participants successfully defend a PhD theses after approbation of their research at the conference. The event became a launch pad for development of young scientist’s academic career”, said the organizer.

Specialists of the Institute will receive applications for participation in February and March. The priority will be given to scientific articles, which are experimental. “If five-ten years ago there were abstracting and survey reports, now the level of participant training became higher: even pupils and students try to show the results of their research and experiments to experts”, said Andrey Melnikov.
