In December, NEFU International Club summed up the results of network competition of Vine videos “I want to study at NEFU” between NEFU foreign students. Organizers uploaded the videos on special channel in Youtube and jurors assessed the videos. According to Lyu Thi Huen, the organizer, the student of the Faculty of Philology, Torbat Selenge from Mongolia became a winner.

“We organized this competition to increase the interest and motivation of foreign applicants and students to enter North-Eastern Federal University. The participants showed what is winter in Yakutia, told about the region, student life in Campus”, said Lyu Thi Huen.

Torbat Selenge, the student of the Institute of Economics and Finances, made a video “NEFU is our favorite university”. The group of students from Indonesia were awarded diploma of 2^nd degree for Vine “Indonesia loves Yakutia”, Lin Yalin from China took the 3^rd place, she showed a cold winter in the region. Vine video “Yakutian natural ice-box” of Amarzhargal Purevzaya, the student from Mongolia, received the special award for promoting the image of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

“We assessed the videos by the rich content, how they cover the subject, show the study, life and leisure time of students in Yakutsk, originality of idea, comments of viewers. I thank all participants for their interest and responding, and the university for supporting our ideas”, said the organizer of competition.
