Engineering Design Forum at NEFU: NEFU Professor Jin-Ho Cho opened a set of lectures

NEFU students of economic and technological specialties under the leadership of Jin-Ho Cho will develop engineering projects. The students will have been learning the basics of engineering construction of Korean professor according to his program for 3 weeks, which he presented on introductory lecture yesterday on January 18.

Before they get started, the students will to listen to a lecture course. After they will select a focus area, will analyze projects, and then will develop and protect in front of Expert Committee of the University. Forum will be completed on  February 7. Projects for decision of engineering problems specific to region, presented by NEFU students will be the results of forum.

Forum working language is English. Professor called to speak English not only within the learning program, but also to use it in communication between each other. “English is a language, which gives you many opportunities. Important thing in learning is a certain practice”, he said. He told to students on introductory lecture about his scientific research and showed examples of engineering projects developed by him.

“Professor Jin-Ho Cho showed me the importance of interdisciplinary contacts that you can create a project with any group, where every participant will be involved and realize their full potential”, said Nyurgun Ismakov, the student of the Institute of Engineering and Technology at NEFU.

It should be reminded that professor Jin-Ho Cho has been doing a research of new materials and lube oils since 2012, which capable of working at 70C, on the base of academic and technologic laboratory “Technologies of PNCs” at NEFU Institute of Natural Sciences.
