Federal universities of Yakutia and Crimea have opened a joint humanities master’s program

North-Eastern Federal University (NEFU) together with Crimean Federal University (CFU) has launched a new master's program on the literature and culture of the Russian macroregions, according to TASS.

"The new network master’s program was opened at NEFU Philological Faculty, its partner is CFU. The students will pass the original courses of CFU leading professors on literature and folklore of the Crimean Tatars, Karaites, Krymchaks, Ukrainians, and will study the literature of the small-numbered Arctic peoples, the culture and language of the Russian old residents, the Russian literature of Yakutia and the specifics of the national policy in the region”, the statement said. The master's program includes training in two regions, the classes will start this year.
