NEFU students will be trained at Huawei

This year the world leader in the field of information and communication technologies - Huawei - will train 15 students from various universities of Russia on the program Seeds for the Future. Three students of the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of North-Eastern Federal University Arsen Cherdonov, Marianna Dyachkovskaya and Petr Vasilyev were selected and were given the right to study at the company from 11 to 25 November.

According to NEFU Department of Informatization, students will be trained in two cities of China – in Shenzhen and Beijing. "Within the framework of the course, students will receive theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of information and communication technologies, get acquainted with the language and culture of China. Huawei assumes all financial obligations, including flights, transfers, accommodation, meals and other costs", the department's employees noted.

Senior students and young specialists from over 200 universities from 90 countries, including Russia, Great Britain, France, Italy, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore took part in Seeds for the Future program.

"This program has been implemented in Russia since April 2012. For five years, the total number of participants was more than 100 students and teachers from different universities in Russia, who were trained at the headquarters of Huawei in China. NEFU students for the first time will undergo an internship", said Vice Rector for informatization Petr Ivanov.
