On 29-30 June, within the frameworks of the IV All-Russian Conference “Problems and prospects of the development of Higher Education and Science of the Russian Federation”, an Independent Community Council of the Contest “100 the Best Russian Universities and Research Institutes” awarded North-Eastern Federal University by the title award winner, diploma award and gold medal.
Rector Evgenia Mikhailova was awarded badge of honor “Rector of the Year”.
NEFU won a prize in the nomination “The best socially oriented University”.
Sergey Popov, the Head of Mathematical Analysis Department of the Institute of Mathematics and Information Science, was recognized as “The Best Teacher”.
