Applicant-2024: NEFU has finished accepting documents for admission to budget places
On July 25, the Central Admissions Committee of the North-Eastern Federal University completed accepting documents for admission to budget places in bachelor's and specialist programs. In total, 4,800 applicants submitted documents to the head university, and about 500 to NEFU branches in the cities of Neryungri, Mirny and the Chukotka branch.
"We received 17,160 applications for studying at the main university, 469 applications fr om 281 applicants were received by the Technical Institute (f) NEFU in the city of Neryungri, 162 people submitted documents to the Mirny Polytechnic Institute - this is 243 applications, and 41 applications from 34 applicants were registered in the Chukotka branch. The main feature of this admissions campaign was the implementation of a new mechanism for admission to targeted training. At the beginning, there were some difficulties with exporting data from information systems and their integration, but now we can note that the situation is changing for the better," commented the head of the NEFU CPC Elizaveta Ilyina.
Thus, this year, 35 winners and prize winners of federal Olympiads submitted documents to NEFU, who have the right to be enrolled without entrance examinations. 168 applicants applied for places within a separate quota, 166 for places within a special quota, and 478 people applied for targeted training.
Traditionally, the training areas of the Institute of Finance and Economics, the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science, the Medical Institute, and the Faculty of Law were popular. In addition to the programs of these departments, this year applicants were attracted by the following areas: "Psychology. Psychological Counseling" of the Institute of Psychology collected 203 applications, "Mining. Mining Machinery and Equipment; Open-pit Mining; Underground Development of Ore Deposits" of the Mining Institute - 253, "History. History" of the Faculty of History - 171, as well as 241 applications were submitted for the programs of the Engineering and Technical Institute "Construction. Industrial and Civil Construction", "Land Management and Cadastres. Real Estate Cadastre" – 173.
We remind you that enrollment is carried out in two stages. On July 28-30, the priority enrollment stage will take place, wh ere applicants will be accepted without entrance examinations and for places within quotas.
The main enrollment stage will take place on August 3-9. At this stage, the university will enroll those who are admitted based on the results of entrance examinations for the main places within the control figures remaining after enrollment without entrance examinations.
Currently, NEFU continues to accept documents for training in master's programs for budget places, it will last until July 31. Documents confirming individual achievements must be submitted no later than July 31. Documents for fee-paying places will be accepted from July 1 to August 20.
