Today, July 22, the final meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation and holding of the VIII International Sports Games "Children of Asia" in Yakutsk was held. The Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Aisen Nikolaev presented a letter of gratitude to the Rector of the North-Eastern Federal University Anatoly Nikolaev for his contribution to the organization and holding of sports competitions.

During the VIII Games "Children of Asia", the university provided its sports facilities, provided accommodation and meals for the participants, and also took on the organization of a number of related events.

"I am sincerely grateful to Anatoly Nikolaev and the entire NEFU team for their tireless work and dedication. Thanks to your support, the Games "Children of Asia" were held at the highest level," Aisen Nikolaev noted.

Rector of NEFU Anatoly Nikolaev, in turn, expressed gratitude to the Head of the Republic for the trust shown, he emphasized that it was an honor for NEFU to take part in this significant event. "We are proud that together we were able to organize such bright and memorable Games. I would also like to note the contribution of the staff and students who took part in organizing and holding the VIII International Sports Games "Children of Asia", - said Anatoly Nikolaev.

Let us recall that about 1000 students and staff of NEFU were involved in organizing the International Games "Children of Asia". During the Games, members of 26 teams of participating countries, judges and volunteers lived on the campus of the university.
